I’m so excited to partner up with local Charleston boutique Maris DeHart for my Curator Covets collaboration. Every season I’ll be choosing 10 products from southern brands, mostly who are based in Charleston, and we’ll be donating a portion of the sales of these items to a local charity. For the launch of our winter program we’ll be featuring python accessory brand Taxidermy, fashion illustrator Daniel Velasco, Charleston made candles by Element Candle, conceptual accessories by Catie Curran, one of a kind jewelry by Ash Hoffman, iconic Charleston graphic textiles by Suite 33, bespoke bling by Christina Jervey, cutting edge handbag designer Ellia Wang, modern minimal jewelry by Naked Eyes, and ethereal handcrafted jewelry by Kristen Baird.
Bottom shelf left to right: Kristen Baird Sparkle Cuffs in Chalcedony $369 each // Naked Eyes Silver Bar Ring $135 // Ellia Wang Crystal Sharp Wristlet $398 // Christina Jervey Hex Bangle $195 // Suite 33 Deluxe Cosmetic Case in the Folly Pier print $45 // Ash Hoffman silver hammered choker with turquoise and opal $495
Giving back to the local community is so important to me and working with a charity that benefits children is near and dear to my heart. For the winter program we’re working with Lowcountry Orphan Relief. They are a non-profit organization that provides goods and services to children who have been abused or neglected. They also work directly with other non-profits, schools, foster parents, and government agencies to identify the individual needs of these and other children in severe situations. From Dec 1st to Feb 28th we will be working with this amazing charity to help make a difference in these children’s lives.
All of these items are currently for sale at Maris DeHart but mark your calendars for the launch party on Dec 1st at 32 Vendue Range in conjuction with the Taxidermy Holiday Party. We will also be having a clothing and stuffed animal drive that night as well for Lowcountry Orphan Relief. Please come out and shop local while you give back to those in need this holiday season.

Business is booming in this quaint village filled with shopping and yummy restaurants. Scout & Molly’s Kiawah is one of the new boutiques that opened up since this summer. The fresh mix of clothing and accessories is a nice edition to the retail mix and appeals to all ages. My favorite items from this shop is the thick cuffed jeans by Level 99 (my favorite denim brand) and these Schutz lace up flats. This could easily be my uniform everyday.
Blouse by Marie Oliver $198, Jeans by Level 99 $118, Necklace by Barb Clawson Designs, Sunglasses $22.50, and Shoes by Schutz $150 all from Scout & Molly’s Kiawah

Myrtle Beach based jewelry designer Ash Hoffman creates beautiful, one of kind jewelry that stands out from the rest. Her attention to detail and craftsmanship is her trademark and each piece is made with love. I’ve been a sworn fan since Charleston Fashion Week 2014, when I stumbled upon her pop up shop in the Style Lounge. I was immediately drawn to her organic, textured jewelry that had an effortless rockstar sensibility. I’m so happy that she’s finally carried in some of the stores that I frequent in Charleston – Style Dwell, Tres Carmen Kiawah, and Maris DeHart. Now you can shop her jewels locally and try on her bohemian bling!

The other day I had the fun experience of getting glam with Giorgio Armani Beauty at Cosbar Charleston. When you walk into Cosbar on King Street you step into luxury beauty heaven. They carry all of the top cosmetic, skincare, hair care, and fragrance lines such as Tom Ford, Trish McEvoy, Oribe, Bobbi Brown, LaMer, and Laura Mercier just to name a few. Resident makeup artist Megan Johnson applied Giorgio Armani Beauty makeup while explaining each product to me. I always find it so helpful when the makeup artist walks me through everything they’re doing so I can try to replicate it at home. I loved the products, especially the Lasting Satin Lipcolor, which really did last me all day. Most lasting lipsticks leave your lips dry, but this one was very moisturizing and didn’t budge at all!
Cosbar Charleston frequently brings in beauty experts from all over the world to educate and share their new products. This Saturday will be a standout one with Tim Quinn, the celebrity makeup artist for Giorgio Armani Beauty. Tim has worked with starlets such as Gwen Stefani, Glen Close, Drew Barrymore, Naomi Campbell, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Brooke Shields just to name a few. Tim Quinn and his team will be showing the hottest trends in makeup from the runway to the red carpet. Tim is also an advocate of The Farrah Fawcett Foundation which funds cancer research and prevention and 10% of the Giorgio Armani Beauty sales will be donated to this cause. If your a beauty junkie or need some guidance with the top experts in the industry, you don’t want to miss out on this one! Stop by Cosbar Charleston this Saturday, November 12th from 10am – 5pm at 201 King Street.

I’ve been collecting vinyl since high school, so I was naturally excited to hear about a new coffee shop that also sells records. Enter Eclectic Vinyl and Cafe on Spring Street in downtown Charleston. It really is an eclectic mix of music for sale, from old school hip hop, classic rock, electronic, funk, and soul, all of my favorites!
Another great part of this cafe/shop is that they have a listening station where you can check out the records before you buy them. Not that you already know they are all gems and need a home. Once in a while I like to change up my home office scene and park it at a coffee shop. Eclectic Vinyl and Cafe is my new favorite and I’ll definitely be back for the great music, drinks, food, and good vibes!
Heavy Stripe Moto Jacket $258 and Ponte Back Seam Pant $158 from Lilla P // Tank top $49 from Bits of Lace // Mini Sophia Crossbody by Rebecca Minkoff $245 and Sneakers by Vince from Shoes on King // Requin Tooth necklace $230 by Kate Davis Jewelry // Oval ring by Soko $54 from Be the Change Boutique // Clarita sunglasses $44.95 from Blue Planet Eyewear

It’s hard to believe that November is here, especially when the average temps in Charleston are 80 degrees. There’s no denying that the holidays are around the corner and what better way to stock up on your intimates from Bits of Lace and get into the spirit. From November 1st – 30th, customers who spend $100 or more in store will receive a voucher valid for complimentary photos with Santa Claus redeemable December 1st, 2nd, or 3rd! Might as well knock out those Christmas photos while you shop for essentials for yourself and your loved ones. The event will also feature a drop box for both Toys For Tots and the Salvation Army Angels. On top of that you’ll receive 10% off when you donate a toy.
