There’s no doubt everyone gets the case on the Monday Blues, especially when it’s a rainy one. Hopefully this outfit and southern made accessories brings a little sunshine to you.
This top by an emerging designer, Anna Cate who actually just showed at Charleston Fashion Week. The North Carolina native designs feminine dresses and separates with a classic touch and is now carried at Maris DeHart.
The Ellia Wang bag is from her new collection which she debuted at the Maris DeHart Style Makers tent at Charleston Fashion Week. Ellia’s new collection focuses on her modern shapes with subtle accents, making it wearable for any outfit.
Local jewelry artist, Christina Jervey always has a new design up her sleeve, like these long U shape earrings. I love her modern and organic shapes, she is a true original.

Dandy Boutique always has some of the most fun and whimsical dresses in store and online. This one by Emily and Fin is straight out of vintage heaven and has the best fit ever. The bag is undeniably cute with the robot motif and space age shape. The best part is that the bag and dress are under $200, which is why I love Dandy Boutique so much. You can find the most unique pieces at such affordable prices at this Upper King shop.
The ear cuff is by emerging designer Suzanna Dai from Maris DeHart who stocks her gumball drop earrings in an array of colors. If your looking for unique accessories, this is the spot!

My favorite time of year is in full swing! Spring is the best time to break out that cute outfit without feeling all hot and sweaty. This awesome dress by Adelyn Rae from House of Sage has the coolest print with a little surprise cut out in the back. This is a store that you have to stay connected with on Instagram, because they are constantly getting in new shipments in and their popular styles always sell out in an instant.
These sweet shades are also from House of Sage and are only $22! They have some of the best sunglasses for such a great price. I always say, you gotta ball on a budget.
Thanks to Barre Evolution, I couldn’t be happier with the results in my body. I’ve been getting my butt kicked for the past 6 months and I can really see a difference, especially in the leg department. Now if I could only cut out the sweets and carbs I could see a difference in arms, but that wouldn’t be any fun.
Adelyn Rae dress $104 and sunglasses $22 from House of Sage // Cressida Hoops earrings $125, 3/4″ Paula cuff $225, and necklace all by Ash Hoffman // “Kecia” nude lace up booties in Nude $317 by Becki Coakley

I recently went to the unveiling of the newly renovated J. McLaughlin store on King Street, a jovial celebration thrown by Garden & Gun Magazine. The iconic American clothing brand, started by 2 brothers – Kevin and Jay McLaughlin 40 years ago, is still bringing timeless style into both men’s and women’s wardrobes. Their new store reflects their design sensibility, classic with a hint of retro and always in that resort state of mind.
The well bred brand is based in Brooklyn, and has a growing fan base with help from their 100 stores and counting all over the U.S. Their outposts on King Street and Freshfields Village in Kiawah are the perfect fit for locals who want to feel like their on vacation all of the time and for the vacationers to feel like their locals.
The Tiegan off the shoulder dress that I’m wearing here is made out of the softest cotton with stretch, which is key for living in the south. I can’t wait to wear it through the hot summer months. I love the retro design of this Victoria circular wicker bag, it’s my new obsession! It’s like that bag your searching for in the vintage store, but now you can buy it new online.
The off the shoulder style of the dress is perfect for featuring any statement jewelry like this choker by Ash Hoffman.
Any excuse to go to a fashion party with my hubby Gustavo is always a good idea. You can’t beat a guy who loves clothes as much as me.
When The Curator and The Weekender get together we always have a great time! Liz Martin of The Charleston Weekender brings the party wherever she goes.
I’m excited to see all of the retail growth in downtown Charleston. With new boutiques sprouting up and King Street veterans like J.McLaughlin expanding and renovating, our city continues to boast some of the best shopping in the south.
Tiegan off the shoulder dress $188 and Victoria circular wicker bag $158 from J.McLaughlin // Jenkins Block Heel Sandal in nude by Corso Como $128.95 from Nordstrom // Cressida necklace $155 and 3/4″ Paula cuff $225 by Ash Hoffman

The international secret pop up dinner party, Diner en Blanc is coming back to Charleston on April 27th and it’s time to find that white outfit. Thankfully there’s so many great local shops that have options like this 2 piece set from House of Sage and it’s under $80! I’ll be featuring what to wear at Diner en Blanc tomorrow on Lowcountry Live with looks from Bevello, V2V, Shoes on King, and M. Dumas.
Established nearly 30 years ago in Paris, Diner en Blanc returns to Charleston for the second time and over 1,000 guests are anticipated to attend. What can you expect at this grand affair? You have dress in white, from head to toe; you have to bring your own prepared food, tables, chairs, china silverware and white linen, OR Diner en Blanc has partnered with lots of local businesses to make set up even easier. Follow them on Instagram to find out all of their local partners. To ensure that the location is kept secret until the last minute, guests will meet at an assigned departure location and volunteers will escort them to destination the secret location.
I heard they’re pretty strict with their dress code and you have to wear white shoes as well, but for this outfit post I had to step out in my new shoes from Becki Coakley. Don’t fret, this Charleston native also offers white shoes on her site as well. The sophisticated heels are made from the finest leather in Italy, showcasing classic and cutting edge design.
Statement earrings by Ash Hoffman are always the cherry on top with my outfits!
