As the Charleston Shop Curator I take pride finding all of the shopping treasures in Charleston. The lowcountry is far from the quiet southern town I moved to 14 years ago from New York. I knew people would be flocking to this city for it’s charm, food scene, warm temps, coastal living, and growing shopping community. From locally owned boutiques like Croghan’s Jewel Box who have been on King Street to newish Candlefish, an interactive concept gift shop.
A few years ago I had the opportunity to partner up with boutique hotel Zero George on a Shopping Experience for their guests. They can book me for 3 hours or more for a private shopping tour and an insider’s guide to Charleston. As a city, our culture is not just defined by the history, architecture, art, food and music, but also by the shopping. The boutique owners and local designers contribute to the diversity of Charleston and I love sharing their stories with visitors that come into town.
To share my appreciation of all things local I’ve teamed up with Zero George and a few of my favorite local boutiques for an amazing giveaway. We’re giving away a hosted one night stay at zerogeorgest • Private shopping experience with me • @goldbugcollection bee bracelet from @croghans • $100 gift certificate from @thefinickyfilly • Candle making class for 2 at @shopcandlefish
