The Nice List at Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre

Another one-stop shopping destination that I love to go to is Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre.  You really could spend all day shopping, then end it with dinner and a movie.  Sounds like a perfect day to me!  If your looking to shop local know that not every business is corporate, there are plenty of small businesses that you can support too.  I’m rounding up some of my picks here.

Not sure which list your on?  This reversible sequin pillow from Palmetto Moon gives you both options:)

Whether you’re looking to get your Santa photos for your kids or pets, Towne Centre makes it so easy.  Click here for a full schedule of dates and times, plus you can reserve a spot ahead of time.

Want to impress your wine connoisseur friend?  The Cellar Wine & Gifts carries everything under the sun when it comes to wine and beyond.   They have the La Grande Dame 2006 Veuve Clicquot which is an exclusive blend of eight classic Grands Crus: Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir (53%); Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for the Chardonnay (47%).  This luxury brand knows how to combine their sophisticated packaging and supreme taste.

I got the most amazing blowout and glamour treatment by Terrance at Stella Nova.  There’s nothing like a good blowout to make you feel like you can conquer the world.  I also love that they stock the best quality brands in the beauty industry including Oribe, Fresh, R+Co, and Moroccan Oil to name a few.

Stella Nova also carries so many great stocking stuffers including bath bombs, soaps, and these beautiful candles that smell so heavenly.

Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre has given back to the community in so many ways.  This summer I worked with them and Make A Wish to enhance a wish by giving a much deserving girl a shopping spree.  It was inspiring to experience so many businesses who want to pay it forward.   This holiday season Towne Centre is hosting their annual holiday gift drive with East Cooper Community Outreach.  You pick a card, purchase the items listed on the card, then return the card and the items, unwrapped, to the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre Management Office.   Gift tags will are available at select stores including Athleta, Burtons Grill, Southern Tide by M. Dumas & Sons, Lizard Thicket Boutique, CycleBar, TCBY, European Wax Center, TGI Fridays, Qdoba and Regal Cinema, plus at the Towne Centre Management Office at 1218 Belk Drive.  All items purchased need to be brought in no later than December 21.

You’ve got to fuel up in between all of that shopping cardio.  I always stop in Napa Mt. Pleasant when I’m in the neighborhood.  My go to?  The mussels that they switch up the broth every season.  This one in particular had blistered tomatoes and jalapenos for a nice kick.  My outfit is from Vestique which just moved to the same block as Napa.  I’m a sucker for overalls so I had to jump on this one.  They stock so many cute women’s styles for such affordable prices.

I hope I helped knock out some gift giving ideas for you at Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre. There’s always something new in store over there including a park that they are building out right now. View more to see the rest of my picks.

The New Romantics

When creative forces collaborate beauty shines.  I was fortunate enough to work with Charleston creatives Pale Girl PhotographyDaniel Velasco,  Lexxie Jones, Treshawn Ford,  Jahde Leather Atelier,  Petaloso, Bellelina Studio, and Katrina Lawyer to produce a collection of stunning imagery.  I pulled clothing from former Charleston Fashion Week Emerging Designers Joan’s Bridal CoutureAndrew Clancey , Tygerian LaceViviane Carvalho, and Emilie Lauren Schroeder .  The 11 years of fashion week have been an incubator for design talent in the south and beyond.  I have forged meaningful relationships with some of the designers, including one of my close friends Daniel Velasco who presented a collection at CFW 3 years ago and is also a very talented illustrator.  I’m so grateful for the talent that has graced our city because it has elevated the creative community to the next level.  I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!
