Black Friday is here and shopping locally in Charleston has never been more rewarding. New Charleston boutique Maris DeHart is featuring a sale you don’t want to miss out on today! Shop locally made gifts and that outfit you’ve been eyeing. Starting at 9am – 12pm 30% off of everything, and from 12-8pm receive 20% off when you spend $100 or more. I love the mix of merchandise at this new shop that opened this past summer on the corner of East Bay and Vendue in downtown Charleston. Founder and buyer Alden DeHart has curated the perfect mix of fashion, lifestyle, and art together in a beautiful modern setting.
Another reason why I love Maris DeHart is that they’re an incubator for emerging southern designers. I’m so happy to team up with them for Curator Covets. Every season I’ll be choosing 10 products from southern brands that they carry, and we’ll be donating a portion of the sales of these items to a local charity starting with Lowcountry Orphan Relief. For the launch of our winter program on December 1st we’ll be featuring Taxidermy, Daniel Velasco, Element Candle, Catie Curran, Ash Hoffman, Suite 33, Christina Jervey, Ellia Wang, Naked Eyes, and Kristen Baird.
I’m looking forward to the launch of Curator Covets at Maris DeHart next Friday, December 1st at their holiday party in conjunction with the Taxidermy pop up at 32 Vendue Range. From 12-5pm that day receive 20% off, and join them for drinks and lite bites from 5-9pm. Meet the makers and you just might meet a Christmas icon in a red suit!

Tune into Lowcountry Live next Tuesday, November 29th at 10am as I talk about Maris DeHart and Taxidermy and how they’re giving a new retail experience in Charleston. I’ll also be featuring all of the Curator Covets products and sharing our collaboration.
