Celebrating With Celadon

I have profound respect for any local retail business that can thrive and evolve over time, so of course I’m a big fan of Celadon because they are celebrating 23 years.  Steve Lesniak opened Celadon in 1994 to bridge the gap of traditional southern furniture stores to a more global eclectic view.  This home furnishing store turned lifestyle boutique has a little bit of something for everyone.  You can’t help but get overwhelmed with the mix of global finds, upmarket furniture, one-of-a-kind antiques, designer lighting, accessories, vintage rugs, quirky gift items, handcrafted jewelry, and fun kid’s items.  The buyers travel to exotic countries like India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, China, to find the most beautiful home furnishings and accessories.

Every year Celadon throws a big birthday party and this year they have outdone themselves by featuring a pop up with 27 vendors including jewelry makers, fashion designers, food vendors, artists, and entertainment.  You don’t want to miss out on the all the fun this Saturday, November 11th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their Mt. Pleasant location – 1015 Johnnie Dodds Blvd.  You can start your Christmas shopping early with local artisans and brands like BabiatorsBarracuda Moon JewelryFlowershopFrancis + BenedictHaegur Plant TruckHarrison Blackford ArtHART,  Jahde Leather AtelierLaura Deems ArtMiles Purvis ArtPaige Feigley ArtPenelope Design StudioRed Rose VintageCindy DeAntonio, Sam Rueter ArtSuite 33The Contents Co.The Goldbug CollectionTheodosia JewelryVan H. Van H. Rings always has the prettiest gems and I loved mixing them up with The Goldbug Collection.  I can’t walk down the street without someone commenting on my  Francis + Benedict skirt.  Scoop one up before your favorite print and size sells out!

Adorn yourself with local favorite Theodosia Jewelry.

If you want to get more sneak peeks on who’s showing at Celadon‘s celebration, then tune into Lowcountry Live this Thursday at 10am.  I’m taking you on location to show you what you’ll be in store for.  Also, take advantage of  their 23% off sale this Friday – Sunday because your never too early to get your holiday shopping on!
