Sipping and Strolling though the Village
A couple of weeks ago me and the family headed out to Freshfields Village in Kiawah for the Holiday Festival and had a blast. We’re always looking for an adventure where we don’t have to travel too far and we love coming back to Freshfields Village to shop and dine. My boys were loving it because they had a jump castle, games, an art table, and our all time favorite, the mechanical bull.
Looking for a little retail break I popped into The Resort Shop, a family owned local women’s boutique that has been a Freshfields mainstay since the start. They always have some sweet selections from Mara Hoffman, Trina Turk, and this dress from Cupcakes & Cashmere. I topped it off with this Tart hat and I was ready to explore the village some more.
Of course we had to take a break at Vincent’s Drug Store and Soda Fountain where we got served up some ice cream sundaes and milkshakes.
Freshfields Village always has something cooking and this Thursday they’re having their last Sip & Stroll of the year. From 4-7pm the shops will be serving sips and light snacks while they roll out special sales and promotions. This is a great place to knock out gifts for pretty much everyone in your family. I know my boys love stopping by Wonder Works to check out and play with all of their interactive toys. So get your holiday shopping on while shopping local!
