One Love

True love is not bound by skin color, gender, beliefs, or background.  These two beauties, Abigail Marie (right) and Natalie Rodriguez (left,) are madly in love with each other and are proud to share it with the world. Both creative souls, these women share their passion for life and never take for granted the endearing love that they have found.

They are the perfect symbols of love to represent this bridal story.  Wearing one of a kind gowns by One Love Design by Rachel Gordon, these ethereal goddesses happily posed in front of Southern Smoke Cigars super swanky airstream at Holy City Brewing Company.

Ibiza is a magical island filled with beautiful beaches, scenic views, amazing food and gorgeous people.  Known for their jet-set party scene, it also has many hidden gems that any adventure seeker would love, and it’s even family friendly!  One of my favorite beaches was Salinas, where you can enjoy beach side drinks and food while house music pumps in the background.  Past the semi-nude beaches were these massive rock enclaves where you could have your own private beach.  They were the perfect setting for a little pop up photo shoot!

Art Institute of Charleston Student Show

Charleston Fashion Week 2014

 Photography by Lauren Sykes

The fashion show from the Arts Institute of Charleston was more than what you would expect from a student presentation.  The avant garde concept and well made garments were impressive.  The best element of the show was the unconventional use of the traditional Gullah basket weaving that is native to Charleston’s heritage.
