A few weeks ago I co-hosted a sunset yoga session with my girl Melora Morgan of Serenity Tree Yoga. I first connected with Melora 13 years ago when she was teaching yoga at Gold’s Gym. Her energy and constant positive vibrations drew me close and we became fast friends. Now more than ever her mantra of loving yourself and living without fear is so relevant in the world we live in. Practice yoga is not just a physical activity, but a time to be present, honor ourselves, and show gratitude for the life that we live.
Melora usually teaches her classes on Folly Beach but a strong storm rolled in and thankfully our plan B worked out perfectly. We ended up doing our session on the pier on the top floor and it felt like we had our own private party.
Liz Martin of the Charleston Weekender always brings the good vibes. Even though the rain teased us we were excited to wear our outfits from , sunglasses from Sunglass LA, Evolve Malas, and Petaloso flower crowns.
The Juice Joint served up the most delicious acai bowls and watermelon juices. They’re food truck on Folly has some of the healthiest choices on the beach!
Melora with Kate Counts of Evolve Malas. Kate is another amazing yoga teacher and I always enjoy her encouraging words during practice.
Carol and Kenzie of KC Doubletake always make fitness look stylish.
Melora has the touch when it comes to making sure your connecting with your practice
There’s nothing like feeling the wind on the water and overlooking the ocean while your exercising. Yoga on the beach is probably the best setting for total relaxation which is why her private sessions including Charleston bachelorette parties are such a hit. There are so many Charleston bachelorette ideas out there, but this tops my list.

Sarah from a Lowcountry Wedding tried yoga for the first time and I think she enjoyed it. Especially the cool damp cloth at the end scented with Eucalyptus oil. Her Bride Tribe tank from is the perfect top to wear for a Charleston Bachelorette Weekend.
