Creature of Comfort

Recently I had the pleasure of staying at the Andell Inn at Freshfields Village in Kiawah and probably had the best sleep of my life.  This is one of my favorite places for a staycation near Charleston.  With only a 30 minute drive from my house in James Island I feel like I’ve escaped to a destination hundreds of miles away.   My kids love it because their favorite store Wonder Works is there, and I love it because it really feels like a village where you can spend the day shopping and eating great food.

All the rooms have an amazing view of the lowcountry, and the beds make it so hard to get out of.  I had to pack the comfiest silk pj’s from Bits of Lace and this cashmere robe for the ultimate luxe experience.  If your looking for a way to splurge on yourself or hint at your loved one for a gift, lingerie and super soft loungewear is always a no brainer.  I always think having quality foundation makes your clothes look better and we spend so much time in bed we might as well make it the most comfortable experience by wearing cozy loungewear.
