Charleston native Haley Keisler has been making jewelry pretty much all her life. With an inherited collection of vintage jewelry she started by repurposing the pieces into new designs and Hermosa Jewelry was born. Growing up in the Lowcountry has inspired her to create her jewelry with locally found oyster shells and organic materials as well as semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, and colorful crystals.
A regular on the pop up shop scene, Haley knows how to hustle her hand-crafted jewels. Her regular residency in the Retail Village at The Volvo Cup has given her tennis celebrity status with some of the well known players scooping up her jewels. Along with her online store, she has a thriving wholesale business selling at local boutiques such as The Preservation Society of Charleston and Stox and Co, and numerous stores in Colorado, Ohio, Florida, and Georgia. You can even pop into her Mt. Pleasant studio to customize your own design with Haley. This has been a huge hit in the wedding scene for both brides and bridesmaids gifts.
I’m excited to show off her designs on Lowcountry Live this Friday at 10am. Tune into “Fashion Friday” to see both her bold designs and dainty pieces that are perfect for layering.
