The Unity issue of Charlie Magazine represents Charleston as a city coming together after the  Mother Emanuel AME tragedy.  Photographer Mark Stetler along with his wife Caroline Knopf, and art director Greg Colleton collaborated on the concept of “One Country” where all races and ages live and work together as a community.  On a hot and steamy August day in McClellanville around 30 people including crew and models volunteered their time to produce these powerful images.  The final product shows the unity of everyone coming together for the same cause – one love, one people, one city, our past, our future.

Photography by Mark Stetler, assisted by Manuela Montanez // Art Director – Greg Colleton // Stylist – Andrea Serrano assisted by Reed Sieber and Amanda Gosnell // Hairstylist –  Mac Does Hair //  Makeup – Lisa Burson
