Family owned Croghan’s Jewel Box always has something up their sleeve and the next trunk show they are hosting is with Elizabeth Locke Jewels on Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24. The designer’s incredibly detailed collection will be on full display at 308 King Street from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Look for her colorful menagerie of Venetian glass pieces as well as one-of-a-kind Staffordshire crystal pieces and 19th century micromosaics.
Elizabeth Locke draws inspiration from the antique jewelry of the Etruscans, Greeks and Romans. After 30 years of being in the jewelry business, she still selects every stone and designs every piece herself. Her love of history in jewelry will be on display at The Gibbes Museum for “A Return to the Grand Tour: Micromosaic Jewels from the Collection of Elizabeth Locke” in January 2020. History always has a way of telling a story through fashion and this is an exhibit not to be missed.
