With summer pretty much here and the end of the school year rapidly approaching it’s important that us women don’t forget to squeeze in that self care. Freshfields Village has plenty of reasons to make a visit to Kiawah – shopping, eating, fitness, and an island escape. Conveniently located across from Java Java, Lululemon recently opened up and they are bringing their fitness philosophy and culture to the Village. Yes they are known for their ridiculously comfortable and high quality clothing, but they also stay active in their community wherever they open up. They frequently offer free fitness classes and meet ups, and also raise awareness for environmental causes and mental health. They keep their Facebook page pretty updated so stay in touch with them for all the activities.

Luv Unite Session Tee by Spiritual Gangster $58, Forge Legging by Koral $120, Only Duffle Bag by Spiritual Gangster $68 all from Studio 33

Fitness has always been my priority. I need that one hour of my day to recharge, rejuvenate, and reflect. Between yoga, barre, and my trainer Ryan Becknell, I try to get it in 5 days a week. I do love to switch up my routine and treat myself to beach yoga or a class at Studio 33. This locally owned fitness studio and retail boutique is exactly what Kiawah needed. They carry some edgy and fun brands like Spiritual Gangster and Koral. Follow them on Instagram for updates on their classes and off site classes. I hope everyone has a great start to their summer and can still squeeze in some me time!
