Last month I made the trek out to Palm Springs for Alt Summit. I knew the scenery would be a dream to produce some fun shoots so of course I called up Friedrich’s Optik on King Street to pull some retro shades.
The brand has been around since 1816 and was established in Hamburg, Germany. 200 years later they have expanded the brand but still keeping it boutique with shops in Charleston, New York, Palm Beach, Berlin, and Stuttgart. What makes an eyewear brand withstand the test of time? Timeless, classic styles made handcrafted quality materials such as buffalo horn, titanium, acetate, and precious metals.
Me and The Charleston Weekender just trying to blend in.
You might have recognized some of these frames by Friedrich’s Optik. Fashion icons like Jackie O and Iris Apfel have made these frames famous. What better way to spend a week in Palm Springs decked out in Friedrich’s?
Loving all the sunglasses you see here but need them in your prescription lense? No problem. Friedrich’s can customize any frame with your prescription.
The Friedrich’s Optik boutique is located on Lower King and has all the pretty frames you see here. Pop in to see all the gorgeous things they have in stock, and tell them The Curator sent you!
