This time last month I was basking in all my Extra Palm Springs glory. Me and some of my closest girlfriends decided to embark on an adventure out west to experience Alt Summit. We soaked up a week of immeasurable content, endless networking opportunities, and even tooks breaks to chill by the pool at our Acme House. My girl Liz, The Charleston Weekender practically lives in Palm Springs and had the week all planned out starting with our fun vacation rental at The Eight Thirty.

Jenny Dennis and Julianne Taylorcame along for the crazy ride and we coined our week as “Bad Mom’s Spring Break” because our kids were on spring break back in Charleston while we were have our grown up version.

The moment we walked in we were hit by the intoxicating scent of citrus trees. Nature’s sweet perfume was our aromatherapy every time we stepped outside. Every sense was stimulated at our Acme House including the insane view of the sky high palm trees and desert. Did I wake up in heaven? Is this real life?

This luscious bougainvillea was blooming everywhere outside our house. Me and Liz tried our hardest to tandem bike down the street but failed unsuccessfully. Thank you Bike Palm Springs for at least making us look cool.

We really felt like locals staying at our Acme House rental. I highly recommend if you’re going to stay in Palm Springs for more than a few days to stay at one of their rental properties. They manage more than 100 privately-owned luxury Palm Springs rentals, all designed and decorated in that Palm Springs retro fabulosity. Recognized by Condé Nast Traveler as Top 10 Vacation Rental Managers To Trust Worldwide, we knew were in good hands.

We were loving our “Extra” time together. Our inner divas were unleashed and Julianne’s alter ego Juju is still coming in hot. Stay tuned for our show “The Real Housewives of Palm Springs”, it’s sure to be a hit!

Thank you for hosting us Acme House we can’t wait for part deux!
